This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Work with prospective law school applicants, helping them identify opportunities to strengthen their applicant profile and develop compelling law school application materials
  • Manage relationships with applicants and families while providing strategic and tactical guidance on law school selection, personal statements, application essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews, and the overall law school admissions process

  • Stay up to date on the law school admissions process, admissions trends, and law school programs to advise prospective and existing students on school selection and the nuances of applying to law school
Qualifications
  • Admissions Committee Experience: Have served on a law school admissions committee with experience reviewing applications and making acceptance and rejection decisions, providing insights into the law school admissions process
  • Completed a JD from a T-14 U.S. law school
  • Experience advising applicants applying to T-14 law schools
  • A passion for coaching
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills, particularly for law school personal statements and application essays
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in project management and applicant tracking
