Job description

Park Services Attendant

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep the park and the queue lines after every show, mop any spills, clean props and trashcans.
  • Empty all trashcans in an assigned area, which includes the restaurants, merchandise stores, attractions, guest's walkways and behind the scenes. Replace the liner in trashcans. Compact the trash, transport trash to compactor for disposal. Clean out cart.
  • Set up for special events and other assigned areas, moving and staging of tables, barricades, carpets and umbrellas. Mounting and movement of signage.
  • May operate department specific equipment including carpet cleaner, vacuum, water extractor, floor scrubber, compactor, etc.
  • Understand & comprehend various venues; understand venue area's standard operating procedures
  • Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answer questions and offer information in a courteous manner. Seek to provide assistance to guests, where appropriate.
  • Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies for the Park upheld.
  • Sweep and inspect the restroom upon request to include: Keep restrooms clean which includes wiping mirrors and countertops, empty trashcans, clean up any toilets or urinals, sweep and mop floors. Maintains organization and stock of toiletries in the restrooms. Keep towels, toilet paper, seat covers, and soap dispensers filled. Report any maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
  • Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
  • Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Demands:
  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs with assistance
  • The noise level is generally moderate to high
  • Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Depending on the assigned location, work can be almost exclusively outdoors

Schedule:
  • Must be available to work at least 4 days per week throughout the peak seasons to include a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay:
  • $19 per hour (After 1,000 hours worked, pay increases to $23/hr)
