Position Summary:

As the Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for the organization. You will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls in a professional manner and executing various administrative tasks at the highest quality standards.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

  • Regular part-time position, including weekends and holidays.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is preferred and expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
  • Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls politely and efficiently.
  • Greeting visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, sorting and distributing mail.
  • Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
  • Supports the events and membership department; conduct member briefings, update bookings, etc.
  • Handles reservations for events and members.
  • Accurately logs and tracks guests and vendor visits.
  • Assists with member inquiries regarding club events, dining reservations, and general information.
  • Supports other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of Premier Club Holdings.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of client, company and personnel information.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Adheres to company attendance standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and/or experience:

  • Prior experience as receptionist or in related field, a plus
  • High school diploma, required
  • Some college, preferred
  • Previous experience in a country club, hospitality, or high-end service environment is preferred.

Computer Skills:
Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, ACCESS, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook  

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:

Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
