Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Bookkeeper to join our team in a part time role. In this role, you will work in the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the Non-Profit Organizations compliance with all legal requirements and aid in the smooth functioning of 3 Non-Profit Organizations.
Responsibilities 
  • Enter financial data and transactions
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
  • Maintaining General Ledger for 3 companies
  • Creating and directing journal entries for 3 companies
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Payroll, Bank Reconciliation
  • Work with Accountants/Consultants, Treasurer, President & CEO
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field 
  • Previous experience of at least 4 years as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position 
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Fund EZ, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and basic accounting systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills, ability to function in a fast paced environment
