Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The Treasury Management Associate's Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide operational support to Treasury Management Manager by doing research, preparing reports and any special projects.
  • Set up new business clients for Business Internet Banking and/or Treasury Management products, including verifying information, inputting data to appropriate systems, communicating completion and maintaining logs.
  • Set-up billing of services, products, ad-hoc, implementation charges, volumes, templates, and accounts for new and existing business clients.
  • Provide effective customer service by responding to Commercial and/or Retail Banking questions, providing information, or researching items in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Provide in-depth product support to internal and external clients by resolving incoming inquiries via telephone or email.
  • Create and provide month-end reporting of volumes, services, risk, and revenue.
  • Proficiently review daily product exceptions.
  • Assist Treasury Management Manager in obtaining approvals for ACH, RDC and large items/holds.
  • Assist with annual reviews for customers.
  • Work closely with core processors, vendors, management and other departments regarding Treasury Management products and services.
  • Document- customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality and product development.
  • Accurately and efficiently process monthly Cash Management and depository service fees ensuring statement accuracy.
  • Expand and maintain updated knowledge of electronic banking, procedures, and changes to all Treasury Management Solutions, products, and services. May attend periodic seminars.
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory guidelines.
  • Complete assigned special projects and training as requested by management.

Working Conditions

  • This position is performed in a regular office work environment with the ability to work a hybrid remote arrangement.

Qualifications Summary

Education

  • High School Diploma; 2 Years college in business related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations and support in the financial services industry, with direct experience in Treasury/Cash Management Solutions, products and services, i.e. Electronic Banking, Remote Deposits, Wire Transfer, ACH, Business Cards and Merchant Services.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Treasury/Cash Management, Merchant Services, Commercial Banking, vendor management, branch functions, bank products, and banking systems, applications, processes, accounting principles and documentation.
  • Good organization skills and keen attention to detail
  • Must be able to build effective working relationships with customers, bank employees and vendors.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Possess good judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be willing to learn and cross-train employees in job functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer software and applications including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
