Job description

Russ Darrow Madison CJDR is actively seeking a friendly, dependable part-time Receptionist/Cashier to be the welcoming first point of contact for our dealership. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and supporting daily office operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and is comfortable handling both customer interactions and basic accounting tasks. Dealership experience and strong Excel skills are a plus.

Responsibilities
• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone in a professional, courteous manner
• Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call, and route callers to the appropriate department promptly
• Operate the switchboard telephone system efficiently and accurately
• Receive cash, check, and credit card payments; issue receipts and make change accurately
• Perform routine accounting tasks related to accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Assist managers and office staff with clerical and administrative duties as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
• Learn dealership departments, procedures, and internal processes to assist customers efficiently

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in being organized, dependable, and customer-focused while contributing to a positive team environment.
Hours available: 3pm-8pm twice a week and every other Saturday from 8am-5pm
