The Temecula/Vail Lake KOA is an outdoor campground destination looking for enthusiastic people to join our food service team. Located in beautiful Southern California among a grove of oak trees, we are a year-round park offering camping close to the Temecula wine country, beautiful Vail Lake, and miles of mountain bike, horse, and hiking trails. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. HOURS:
- Seasonal, Part time starting in May
- 5-15 hours per week depending on occupancy of the campground
- Monday - Sunday with most hours being scheduled Thursday - Sunday
- 7am - 10pm
- $16.90 + pooled tips
RESPONSIBILITIES
โข Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
โข Communicate with all staff and management using Microsoft Teams
โข Enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park
โข Proactive guest management to ensure positive environment for all guests
โข Coordinate with Guest Service staff for problem resolution when applicable
โข Utilize creative problem-solving skills
โข Prepare breakfast, lunch & dinner depending on the season in a cafรฉ style food service kitchen
โข Be comfortable using a variety of kitchen appliances and utensils
โข Food prep for all meals during shift
โข Cashier and process orders
โข Assist with perishable and non perishable inventory on a weekly basis
โข Complete TIPS training for responsible Alcohol Service
โข Serve beer, wine, and spirits in the Cafe
โข Serve Beer, Wine and spirits as needed for catering events on grounds
โข Prepare and serve food and beverages in and around property
โข Clean and maintain food prep area according to Health Code
โข Clean all appliances and equipment daily
โข Dishwashing and sanitizing
โข Other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage manager to ensure smooth operation of the Temecula KOA
Requirements

โข Able to work with others and work independently
โข Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members
โข Communicate professionally and patiently
โข Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 30 lbs.
โข Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
โข Actively communicate both verbally and written
โข Have or acquire a Food Handler's Permit
โข Comfortable serving alcohol
