Job description

Floor Tech (part-time)

Weekend availability is preferred.

  • To be successful in this role you will protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms, and by being mindful of slip, trip and fall hazards. Preferred candidates are motivated, meticulous and able to work with numerous interruptions
  • Followed daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, cleaned assigned areas of building, including carpeted, slick floor, and cement walkways
  • Provided slick floor services, such as stripping, waxing, spray buffing, sweeping, and mopping, to include proper edging on all floor surfaces
  • Cleaned baseboards throughout the facility, responded to floor care emergency calls; such as, spills, body fluids, and markings, using proper equipment to clean area, at all times using universal precautions
  • Work involves pulling and pushing, carrying weight up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to above head.
  • Have the ability to maintain a professional and positive appearance and interact positively with supervisor, co-workers and client staff
  • Responsible for staying abreast of current laws, regulations, policies, procedures and best practices and adapting to Company and industry changes

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of English language
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Recent experience as a Floor Tech preferably
  • Should be familiar with all floor care procedures including equipment and products to use.
  • Must be able to work the hours as scheduled and have open viability if is need it.
  • Must meet all local health regulations. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry

Position Requirements

  • This job requires you to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Solid work history as Floor Tech.
  • Must live in service area. No relocation costs.
