Job description

Salary Rate/Range $19.00 -27.00 per hour
Schedule: Per Diem
The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.
We are seeking a part-time dedicated Intake/Admission Coordinator to conduct phone screening for possible admissions. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Conduct phone screenings for possible admissions •
  • Document intake assessments in ECR •
  • Collect supporting documentation from referents and patients to support decision to admit •
  • Coordinate referral with the outreach team •
  • Communicate appropriateness for admissions to our referents/partners in the community •
  • Set up transportation requests
  • Communicate with admission on expected admits
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Admissions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years experience working with the SUD population, preferred
  • Certified Recovery Peer advocate or CASAC-T preferred
  • Computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Good telephone manners and professional appearance
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, guests, law enforcement, court and safety personnel.
  • Represent the agency with an ethical, fair, and positive attitude
