MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 60 college credit hours preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete a minimum of 12 hours of training on a yearly basis
  • Ensure quality supervision of students at all times
  • Supervise the compliance of staff with established program guidelines and procedures
  • Complete training in the serving of snacks and perform food service duties following health guidelines as assigned
  • Complete training in the areas of first aid and CPR, reporting any injuries immediately to the SACC coordinator or completing the appropriate documentation for the coordinator in their absence
  • Follow established safety procedures including emergency drills (fire/tornado/earthquake) and student release procedures
  • Model expectations for students by setting an example with self-care (hand-washing, for example), use of language/gestures, relationships of respect with S.A.C.C. students, staff and parents, respect and care of program materials, and following directions given by S.A.C.C. coordinator
  • Coordinate the opening (6 a.m.) and closing (6 p.m.) of the program with the coordinator
  • Other duties as may be assigned

TERMS: Part-time with retirement benefits only; $16.72 per hour with $.50 cent per hour differential when S.A.C.C. Coordinator is not present
