A bachelorโ€™s degree is required; a masterโ€™s degree is preferred in special education or mental health-related fields, with at least two years of experience.

Location: South Orange County, CA

A family is looking for part-time direct companion care for a 34-year-old adult male with autism.

Skills:

ยท Experience with Autistic Adults

ยท Psychosocial approach for the plan of care VS a behavioral approach.

ยท Clinical judgment with a strength-based approach to adjust techniques according to the clientโ€™s needs.

ยท Employ positive behavior support strategies to reduce the occurrence of challenging behavior.

ยท Supportive partnership with client and family. Maintain professionalism and uphold confidentiality and respect.

ยท Flexible work availability, 2 to 3 times a week, for 4-hour shifts.
