Job Summary
The SEL Counseling Associate will provide support for students in the area of social emotional learning and skill adaptation in line with the school sites adopted SEL curriculum. This will include but is not limited to Individual counseling, group counseling, push-in services teaching SEL lessons and character values to students classrooms, in-service training for staff and parent/community engagement to help inform community members of SEL and other school site supports and activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Copy of Transcript (Masters degree in clinical counseling. Marriage and Family Therapy (AMFT), Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC))
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must submit two (2) current letters dated within the last twelve (12) months.)
  • Other (Applicant must be a registered associate or show proof of application with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) working toward licensure)
  • Resume
