Job description

Compass Behavioral Group is seeking Contractual LCSW Residency Supervisors to provide high-quality clinical supervision to Social Work Residents delivering home- and clinic-based therapy services.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for experienced LCSWs who are passionate about developing emerging clinicians. Supervisors will work independently while receiving support and consultation from Compass leadership.

This position will supervise residents who will be providing 4-8 hours/week of services per youth/family. Youth in our programs have mental health diagnoses and behavioral concerns. Services aim to help the child and their family develop healthy patterns of relating, decrease concerning symptoms, and behavior, and improve overall functioning and well-being.

Additional opportunity available: Supervisors may also inquire about opportunities to provide outpatient therapy services as part of our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision in accordance with Virginia Board of Social Work requirements
  • Conduct:
  • Bi-weekly 1-hour individual supervision per supervisee
  • Bi-weekly 1-hour group supervision (up to 6 supervisees)
  • Support supervisee development in clinical skills, assessment, ethical practice, and professional development
  • Maintain documentation and compliance standards for supervision

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active LCSW license in Virginia
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure experience

Preferred:

  • Prior clinical supervision experience
  • Experience in community-based mental health services
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
