POSITION SUMMARY:
The Golf Member Associate is responsible for operation of the service desk,
membership transactions, greens fees and class registration, merchandise sales,
financial transactions, golfer check-in, information, communication, and indoor
facility supervision. Customer service is the number one priority. Some light
cleaning is also required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Operation of an efficient, clean, and safe service desk and facility
  2. Basic point-of sale register functions for merchandise, class registration, memberships, greens fees, range balls, and special events
  3. Ensuring friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests
  4. Communicating in a friendly and informative manner with guests both on the phone and in person
  5. Selling memberships and registering members for classes and various programs
  6. Providing information on programs, memberships, events, pricing, registration, etc.
  7. Assisting with merchandise display and inventory
  8. Representing the organization through positive attitude and demonstrating a passion to help others enjoy the game of golf

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience is a customer service setting
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Display of maturity, dependability, and trust
  • Strong communication and phone skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic sales experience preferred, but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently:
  • May be required to walk, stand, run, kneel, climb and stoop.
  • Must be able to sit on the floor and get back up.
