Supporting operational accountability to strengthen student outcomes.

About Effective School Solutions

Effective School Solutions (ESS) is a leading provider of school-based mental health services, serving more than 6,000 K-12 students across 12 states.

We deliver the level of clinical care typically found in private practice, out-of-district placements, or higher levels of care directly within public schools by providing a full continuum of clinical programming, professional development, and district consultation.

The individual will spend approximately one half-day each week on-site checking in with school leaders, ensuring assigned priorities are progressing, following up on commitments, helping delegate action items when appropriate, and making certain key initiatives remain on track.

The ideal candidate is an experienced educational leader who understands how schools operate and can effectively hold teams accountable while building positive, collaborative relationships.

  • Board Meetings: Attendance at quarterly in-person Board meetings is required
  • Compensation: $90.00 per hour

  • Identify implementation barriers and communicate concerns to school leadership as appropriate.
  • Provide objective updates regarding implementation progress and organizational priorities.
  • Foster accountability across departments by encouraging consistent follow-through.
  • Document progress, outstanding action items, and next steps.
  • Attend quarterly Board meetings and provide implementation updates when requested.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain progress tracking for organizational priorities.
  • Document meetings, action items, and implementation updates.
  • Prepare concise written summaries for leadership and the Board.
  • Maintain organized records of implementation milestones and outstanding tasks.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Education, or a related field required.
  • Significant leadership experience in a K-12 school or district setting (e.g., Principal, Assistant Principal, Director, Superintendent, or comparable leadership role).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build consensus, and foster accountability.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school leadership.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership or Boards is preferred.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work on-site approximately one half-day (4-5 hours) each week.
  • Availability to attend quarterly in-person Board meetings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Zoom, and standard office technology.

Why Join Effective School Solutions?

  • Help create lasting organizational impact through accountability and execution.
  • Join an organization dedicated to improving outcomes for students and school communities.
