Client Practice Front-End Specialist

Location: On-site, Wichita, Kansas


Anesthesia Dynamics Management is seeking a Client Practice Front-End Specialist (Scheduler) to support assigned pain management practices by coordinating patient referrals, insurance authorizations, scheduling, and chart preparation.


This role serves as a key point of contact between referring providers, patients, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and physician practices to ensure referrals are processed accurately and appointments are scheduled efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage incoming patient referrals
  • Review referral documentation and identify authorization requirements
  • Obtain and track insurance authorizations and approvals
  • Create and maintain accurate patient records and charts
  • Coordinate scheduling between providers, facilities, and patients
  • Communicate with patients, referring offices, and facility staff to resolve front-end issues
  • Request and track medical records and supporting documentation
  • Monitor referral and authorization status to ensure timely follow-up
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with established procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One to two years of experience in a medical office, scheduling, referral coordination, insurance authorization, or a similar healthcare administrative role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, practice management systems, and standard office software
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience supporting pain management, surgical practices, or ambulatory surgery center (ASC) workflows is helpful but not required

Compensation

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour - Part-time - estimated 25 hours per week
