Job description

About Regenified
Regenified was founded in 2022 by the pioneers of regenerative agriculture. Our founders are known and recognized as the leading figures and guardians for regenerative agriculture and its journey to mainstream agriculture.
Regenified's purpose is to accelerate the adoption of regenerative agriculture by translating data and intelligence into trusted, unified, and common enablers that power a regenerative economy. To date, our standards have been approved by the largest grocery chains in the world and we have been actively verifying large acres of farmland producing grains, beef, poultry, eggs and fresh produce.
The Role
The Field Verification Apprentice is a hands-on, part-time seasonal apprenticeship designed to develop the next generation of verifiers. This role supports Regenified's verification delivery through supervised fieldwork, documentation, and evidence collection while building foundational skills in agronomy, soil health, and verification-ready field execution.
As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced Verifiers and Lead Verifiers, learning how regenerative standards are applied in real-world farm settings. The role involves up to 90% travel during the Spring-Fall season and emphasizes learning through direct field experience, coaching, and repetition.
Success in this role means progressing from assisted field support to confident, consistent execution of high-quality fieldwork that strengthens the integrity, scalability, and credibility of Regenified's verification program.
What You'll Do
  1. Apprenticeship & Skill Development: Learn Regenified's verification standards, field methodologies, and soil health indicators through hands-on fieldwork, shadowing, and ongoing coaching. Build practical skills in agronomy observation, evidence capture, documentation, and audit-ready field execution over the course of the season.
  2. Field Execution (≈90%): Support on-site verification visits by traveling to farms and field locations primarily across North America (some international travel required). Assist with measurements, photo documentation, sampling coordination, and field-level data entry in accordance with SOPs and checklists. Valid passport required.
  3. Documentation & Evidence Quality: Maintain rigorous, organized, and defensible field notes, photos, and supporting records to support reporting and QA processes.
  4. Visit Preparation & Readiness: Prepare materials, confirm schedules, and support evidence checklists to ensure efficient, complete, and professional field visits.
  5. Evidence Gap Support: Work alongside Verifiers, Lead Verifiers, and producers to help collect missing documentation and clarify evidence requirements.
  6. Tools & Process Adoption: Follow workflows and SOPs consistently while flagging issues and contributing improvement ideas based on field experience.
  7. Customer Experience: Support a positive, professional experience for producers by communicating clearly, respectfully, and accurately in the field.

6:11
What You'll Bring
  1. Mission Alignment: A strong interest in regenerative agriculture and a desire to learn alongside farmers, ranchers, and verification professionals.
  2. Relevant Experience: Experience in agriculture, conservation, soil health, verification support, or hands-on field work.
  3. Learning Mindset: Curious, coachable, and motivated to develop technical and professional skills through real-world experience.
  4. Operational Discipline: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable following defined processes and checklists.
  5. Analytical Thinking: Able to observe, document, and communicate field conditions accurately while identifying potential issues or inconsistencies.
  6. Communication & Collaboration: Comfortable working in a team-based delivery model, receiving feedback, and representing Regenified professionally in the field.

Why You'll Love It Here
  1. Learn by Doing: Gain real-world agronomy, soil health, and verification experience through a structured apprenticeship model.
  2. Meaningful Impact: Your work directly supports credible regenerative outcomes and helps build trust across the food system.
  3. Supportive, Mission-Driven Team: Learn from experienced verifiers who care deeply about integrity, science, and farmer success.
  4. Growth & Development: Competitive hourly compensation and meaningful skill development that can serve as a foundation for future roles in agriculture, sustainability, or verification.
