Valley's Adult Outpatient Valley West program provides flexible, evidence-based mental health and substance use services that allow clients to receive support while continuing to navigate their daily lives. As a UA Support Coordinator, you'll play an important role in the recovery process by ensuring accurate specimen collection, supporting program operations, maintaining documentation, and helping clients access the services they need.


Pay: Range starts at $17.75/hr (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)

Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday | 10:00AM - 6:30PM

Job Summary

The UA support coordinator performs a variety of duties that include observing, collecting and packaging client urine samples as well as administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate the continuity of client care.


Essential Functions

  • Observes and collects urine samples according to DOT standards
  • Labels, documents, and prepares samples for processing
  • Follows Universal Precautions and all OSHA standards when handling samples
  • Maintains a clean, sanitary, and private collection space
  • Inputs OQ scores and RANT assessment scores to online database
  • Completes documentation on services provided
  • Provides administrative support on assigned projects
  • Answers program phone calls to schedule appointments and answer questions as needed
  • Follows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care
  • Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations. Strictly adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements
