Job description

Paradis Montrose is hiring an ice cream team member to join our amazing team. we're looking for a friendly, responsible chef/server/cashier to make ice cream in the morning, sell after opening, scoop ice cream, make milkshakes, keep the store clean, and make our customers happy.
Position Overview:
  • Key skill set: Hard worker, flexible, team player, outgoing, service-oriented, organized, and reliable.
  • Pay starts at $16.90 an hour + Tips (We currently average 4-6 Dollars at every hour worked, but during the high season it increases significantly).
  • All tips go to the employees.
  • Paradis Ice Cream offers high-quality, freshly made ice cream based on Danish recipes and all-natural ingredients.
  • You will be a part of a great story that moved from Denmark to the US.

Job Requirements:
  • The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in both hot and cold environments, including restocking freezers.
  • Receiving Inventory/Stock.
  • Excellent customer service skills are highly valued.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and positive personality.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Previous experience handling cash is a plus.

Job Description:
  • As an Ice Cream Scooper at Paradis, you will be at the forefront of our customer service efforts, handling cash transactions.
  • Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee drinks and other beverages.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory, ensuring cleanliness, and enhancing the overall appearance of our retail store.

Job Duties:
  • Deliver efficient, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and the ability to explain specific details about our ice cream offerings.
  • Prepare orders accurately and in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Calculate totals, process payments (cash, debit/credit), and provide accurate change.
  • Restock ice cream, supplies, and merchandise as needed.
  • Produce ice cream, shakes, coffee, and other Paradis products (when applicable).
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines set by Paradis, including following food safety regulations.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
