Registered Nurse - Cardiology Clinic
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Clinic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy day shifts, meaningful patient relationships, and the work you love-all in the beautiful coulee region of western Wisconsin.
What You'll Do
As a Cardiology Clinic RN, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their cardiac care journey.
  • Work 64 hours per pay period (0.8 FTE)
  • Schedule includes 8-hour day shifts between 7:30 AM-5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements)
  • Provide our signature LOVE + MEDICINE to patients at our Main Clinic in La Crosse, with potential hours at our Onalaska Clinic
  • Perform a wide range of ambulatory cardiology nursing functions, including:
    • Phone triage and patient education for cardiac procedures
    • Medication refills and optimization visits
    • Managing Epic In-Basket and MyChart patient messages
    • Assisting with cardiac procedure coordination
  • Enjoy opportunities to cross-train and work in additional cardiology subspecialties

What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of associate degree in Nursing
  • RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year RN experience in cardiology and/or ambulatory setting
