Position Summary:
Unison Health is seeking compassionate and dynamic individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in our Behavioral Health Stabilization Center. This rewarding opportunity allows nurses to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering medications, monitoring client health and safety, and supporting individualized treatment and stabilization plans while implementing evidence-based behavioral health practices. Unison Health is committed to employee success by providing extensive onboarding, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities, along with continuous supervisory support available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position is ideal for nurses who are passionate about behavioral health and dedicated to helping individuals achieve stability, recovery, and improved overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
  • Provides direct nursing services to clients in accordance with established Agency and program policies, procedures, philosophy and clients' needs.
  • Assess data about each client's status and interprets the information needed to identify each individual's requirements in relations to his or her age-specific needs and provide care that is appropriate.
  • As an RN - administers injections, prepares drug samples, gives medications, administers vaccines, calls meds to pharmacies, and provides other nursing services to clients as necessary.
  • Provides and assists crisis team with de-escalation of patients experiencing crisis.
  • Thoroughly and accurately documents all aspects of patient care provided.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Current RN license from the State of Ohio.
  • Associate degree in nursing or completion of a practical nursing program from an accredited school required. Must obtain BLS, First Aid and CPI following hire.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness and the ability to establish therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
  • Must be able to work weekend and holiday rotation.
