BluePearl Pet Hospital in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated Part-time Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team!

We are seeking a Sterile Supply Assistant with a self-motivated, positive attitude to add to our surgical team. This person should be organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation.
As a Sterile Supply Assistant, you will:

• Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.

• Troubleshooting and removing faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.

• Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.

• Decontaminating and cleaning operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures.

• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and wrapping packs

• Serving as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.
• Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
• Safely handle and restrain animal patients for examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
