Job description

Rewinder Operator

Adecco is partnering with a leading packaging manufacturing company committed to delivering high‑quality products through safe, efficient, and reliable production processes. We value teamwork, attention to detail, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate rewinder and related converting equipment according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

  • Set up, adjust, and monitor rewinder machines to ensure proper tension, alignment, and roll quality.

  • Inspect finished rolls for defects, ensuring products meet quality and customer specifications.

  • Accurately document production data, roll counts, scrap, and downtime.

  • Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance.

  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to leadership and maintenance.

  • Follow all safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Work collaboratively with press operators, quality, and warehouse teams to meet production goals.

  • Assist with material handling, roll changes, and packaging of finished product as needed.

  • Support other production areas and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

  • Experience operating industrial machinery or converting equipment a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with quality checks, measurements, and production documentation preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor quality and identify defects.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and adjust production equipment.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.

  • Comfortable working with computers and production tracking systems.

  • Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and documentation.

  • Ability to work safely around moving equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to support production goals.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Additional Requirements:

  • Reliable attendance and commitment to safety procedures.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.

  • Flexibility to work overtime and/or alternate shifts based on business needs.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
