Job description

Part-Time Project Manager (HR Transformation/Refranchising Project)


Location: Remote (Must be available during Eastern Time business hours)


Contract Length: Minimum 6 months, with anticipated duration through the end of 2027


Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager to support a large-scale restaurant refranchising initiative. This individual will work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate activities, track project milestones, facilitate communication, and ensure each transaction progresses smoothly from inception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage project trackers and reporting primarily through Excel.
  • Coordinate meetings with HR, leadership teams, franchise buyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track project deliverables, timelines, action items, and outstanding issues.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Support employee transition planning and communication efforts related to refranchising transactions.
  • Assist with due diligence activities, documentation collection, and reporting.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and roadblocks and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication between HR teams, leadership, and franchise partners.
  • Support implementation of established project playbooks and processes.

Qualifications

  • Prior project management, program coordination, or operations management experience.
  • Strong Excel skills with experience maintaining trackers and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with executives and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting HR, change management, business transformation, or M&A-related projects is a plus.
