Job description

Part-Time Accounting Clerk (Remote)

Deibel Laboratories is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our Accounting and Finance team. This position will assist with a variety of accounting and administrative functions, helping ensure accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and exceptional internal support.

This is a remote position offering flexible scheduling and approximately 20–25 hours per week.

Position Responsibilities
  • Process and post customer payments and cash receipts
  • Apply payments accurately to customer accounts
  • Assist with account reconciliations and record maintenance
  • Support accounts receivable activities and related documentation
  • Assist with month-end and routine accounting processes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within accounting systems
  • Respond to internal requests and provide general administrative support to the accounting team
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related financial experience preferred
  • Experience working within accounting software, ERP systems, or financial management platforms
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting systems preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas, spreadsheets, sorting, filtering, and data reconciliation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively while managing multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with team members
  • Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to evolving business needs
