Job description

SUMMARY: The Employee Ambassador is responsible for greeting and interacting with employees on event day. This role involves fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, facilitating effective communication, and escalating employee concerns. The Employee Ambassador will work closely with the Director of Project Management and Workforce Administration to interact with employees, resolve issues, provide support to employees, and ensure that employees feel valued.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Proactively welcome and greet part-time employees working games and events at Gillette Stadium with a friendly demeanor and a smile.
  2. Foster a positive employee experience by interacting with employees while they work events.
  3. Engage with new hires by facilitating new employee transition to first event worked under direction of Director of Project Management and Workforce Administration
  4. Escalate employee concerns to the Director of Project Management and Workforce Administration / Human Resource manager.
  5. Enhance Employee Experience: Ensure employees receive the care and attention needed to maintain a positive and productive work experience. Strive to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  6. Assist with Employee Engagement Initiatives: Support and coordinate employee engagement activities, including special events, recognition programs, and team-building exercises.
  7.  Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibility

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • This is an entry level role, no experience is required
  • Must be available on a part-time basis, committing to a minimum of 8 Patriots Games, Concerts, and New England Revolution games
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work comfortably both independently and in a team environment
  • Required to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays according to Gillette Stadium event schedule
  • Must be able to work outdoors during all times of the year
  • Must be able to interface with all levels of the organization and represent the Events team in a highly professional manner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel
  • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
