Love kids, cooking, and looking for a summer job?! Apply now to become a Summer Program Cooking Instructor!
At Taste Buds Kitchen, the Summer Program Cooking Instructor hosts cooking classes for children from the age of four up into the teens! We are looking for a high-energy individual who enjoys inspiring those around them to have fun in the Kitchen. The right candidate should have prior culinary experience, a passion for the culinary arts, and the organizational skills required to plan and host a great cooking class experience for children. You must be at least 18 years old to be considered.
We are looking for candidates with Monday to Friday availability to work the following shifts during the Summer program season:
8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Priority is given to those available for the entire season. More hours are available for those who would also like to work nights and weekends!

Here are the Summer Program Cooking Instructor responsibilities:
  • Host amazing cooking classes teaching children from the age of four up into the teens
  • Engage and teach guests about various cooking and baking skills related to the class menu
  • Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our guests
  • You will be responsible for the success of the event from start to finish
  • Interact with all guests to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Sometimes you will work solo, but typically you will manage and supervise a team of culinary assistants for larger classes
  • Set up before class and clean-up after
  • Create a controlled, safe, and clean environment
  • Provide first aid / CPR treatment if needed

  • You are first aid/CPR certified
  • You enjoy the small business atmosphere
