Mail Services Support
Job no: 50000297
Work type: Part time
Location: Virginia Beach
Categories: Student & Temporary
Responsibilities:
  • Student will drive to Post Office every morning to receive USPS mail destined for Regent University
  • Student will sort all mail/packages, with accuracy, to various schools and departments
  • Student will deliver/receive mail/packages throughout Regent University, Regent Commons and Village, Christian Broadcasting Network, and Founder's Inn
  • Student must learn to operate SendSuite Live mailing program
  • Student must learn to operate Connect+ mail machine
  • Student must learn to operate the Hasler Folder & Inserter machine
  • Student will be required to prepare USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL documentation for outgoing mailings
  • Student will deliver all outgoing USPS mail to the Post Office

Requirements:
  • Able to organize and prioritize their work to meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Dependable, hard-working, and able to take direction
  • Learn quickly and enjoy having a wide variety of tasks
  • Be physically able to walk up four flights of stairs
  • Be physically able to carry 50+ lbs. a distance of 50 ft.
  • Current Regent University student in good standing
