Job description

Established Central Massachusetts multi-specialty primary care leader is excited to add full-time and part time Nurse Practitioners passionate about public health and providing quality, accessible care to vulnerable and underserved populations where English may or may not be their first language. Excellent opportunity for NPs looking for sites with robust support staff and offering flexible work schedules. There are no call and no weekend requirements. Working one evening per week is required with the work day starting at 10am on that day.

The NP will provide comprehensive Primary Care to patients within a community outpatient environment. Also will deliver direct primary care and preventative services to assigned children, adolescent and adult patients. Exceptions can be made for providers who only want to see adult patients. Experience in or willing to be trained in GYN procedures like pap/pelvic exam/IUDs is required.

The NP will coordinate the care of patients under the supervision of a Board-Certified Physician. In addition, the NP acts as a member of the clinical team and works collaboratively with other departments in providing patient care, health education and counseling to patients.


PATIENT POPULATION:
- 33% English speaking
- 33% Portuguese speaking (Brazilian)
- 33% Spanish speaking
PROJECTS:
- Assist with the transition to new EMR in 2026
- Provide support to growing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)/OBAT program
- Attends trainings, weekly Provider and Team meetings, and collaborates on practice, administrative, and quality improvement projects, as assigned by Clinical Director
