Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Northern New Jersey to provide In-Home and Center-Based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders.

We are looking for the best talent to provide therapeutic services via center-based and in-home as needed to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. Neuropath is currently hiring dedicated and compassionate therapists to join our team! Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing individual In-home therapy and Telehealth therapy sessions.
  • Performing bio-psycho- social assessments is a plus.
  • Implement coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
  • Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
  • Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.)
  • Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
  • Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.

Requirements:
  • Must have a master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
  • Has Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
  • Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training (e.g. CSOC Training)
  • Has post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience
  • Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
  • Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, DBT, Trauma Response, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused
  • Knows how to use the DSM-5-TR for Assessments and Diagnosis
  • Must be available for a minimum 10-20 hours per week during after-school hours of 12noon through 8pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
  • Must maintain a minimum caseload of 2-4 clients for part-time staff
  • Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
  • Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20, and working with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License
  • Must pass all state and federal background checks
    • A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
  • Must submit resume plus copies of master's degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.
  • State Reciprocity considered, but candidate must be within 25-30 minutes of service areas

Compensation:
  • $60 - $75 per hour

*For candidates applying for a full-time Therapist or Program Manager position, we do not accept full-time candidates in private practice due to potential conflicts of interest in this role.
Pay Range: $60 - $75 per hour
