The Role: Part Time Retail Sales Representative - Levis, QC - 14 hours weekly - 8 week contract

You take a consultative, insight-based approach to selling, effectively balancing your customers' and our clients' interests to drive mutually beneficial outcomes. Your role is to identify business development opportunities to drive sales within an assigned geographical territory.

What You'll Be Doing Every Day:

  • Work with your Manager to set territory goals based on company objectives and develop strategies to meet and/or established target by:
    • Developing customer relations to become a trusted advisor
    • Introducing new products and promotional events into the market 
    • Leveraging selling skills to solicit orders for account Bookings and Allocation
    • Closing distribution gaps by confirming correct shelf tags are present in compliance with account listing & store planograms
    • Ensuring supply availability through merchandising product and checking order / inventory status 
    • Negotiating space for and building Gold Standard displays to maximize points of interruption as well as confirming and correcting previously agreed display implementations 
    • Using sales tools provided to identify opportunities & gaps and determine action plan to drive sales, improve distribution, recognize underperforming categories, and increase overall profitability in your territory
    • Recognizing and utilizing regional sales trends in order to maximize in-store performance
    • Providing feedback and insight on retail conditions and/or issues as they are encountered
    • Other duties as required

Your Experience:

  • Ideally 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPG
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Amazing relationship building skills

  • Positive attitude and a growth mindset
  • Excellent problem-solving skills are essential
  • Careful strategic planning and ability to self-support with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
