Job Title: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner for Substance Abuse PHP Facility

Location: Asheville, NC

Job Type: Part-Time (10-15 hours per week, 1-2 days per week)

Asheville Recovery Center is a leading substance abuse treatment facility dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to individuals struggling with addiction. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive treatment while allowing patients to maintain some aspects of their daily lives. We are committed to creating a supportive environment that fosters recovery and personal growth.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in substance abuse treatment and a passion for helping individuals on their journey to recovery. This role will involve providing medical care, supporting treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Provide medication management, including prescribing and monitoring medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medications, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of North Carolina.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from an accredited program.
- Experience in substance abuse treatment or mental health care is strongly preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
