Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that each Member completes a standard health risk appraisal prior to beginning the training regimen
  • Ensure that all training sessions are entered into the club POS system properly
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner and be on time for all appointments
  • Assist members by answering questions and helping to show them how to use various pieces of equipment
  • Customize training regimen and instruction for Members based upon their unique fitness condition
  • Ensure that all workouts are conducted in a safe manner, consistent with national certification guidelines
  • Respect Member privacy by keeping all personal and fitness-related information confidential
  • Assist with the cleanliness and maintenance of fitness center facilities
  • Participate in fitness center promotional activities
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by Members

Qualifications
  • Post graduate degree preferred
  • National certification by IHRSA approved certification body for Personal Training preferred
  • CPR and AED certification required
  • Able to speak English fluently
  • Able to reach with hands and arms, able to push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds
  • Required to spend long periods on own feet
