Job description

Title: RedNote Marketing Specialist

Location: Silicon Valley (On-site)

Compensation: $6000/month+Performance Bonus (up to 10% of base pay)

Employment Type: 40-hour/week Contractor, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position based on performance.

About Us:

Think Academy is the North American brand of TAL Education Group, dedicated to providing high-quality math education for students ages 3–18. Our long-term math programs have earned the trust of tens of thousands of families, and we have built a strong community of highly engaged parents through Xiaohongshu (RED).

We are looking for someone who can do more than create content. We want a content professional who actively researches the market, deeply understands parents, identifies growth opportunities, and continuously improves content performance.

This role is not simply about producing posts. You will study the U.S. K–12 education market, analyze parent needs and competitor strategies, connect those insights with our products, identify high-impact content opportunities, and continuously test and optimize content to reach more qualified families.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Research the Market and Identify Growth Opportunities
  • Continuously research the U.S. K–12 math education market, parent needs, competitor activities, and high-performing content.
  • Proactively identify content opportunities that connect user needs, our products, and enrollment goals without waiting for detailed direction.
2. Understand Parents and Develop Strong Value Propositions
  • Analyze the needs, concerns, and decision-making triggers of parents across different regions, grade levels, and learning stages.
  • Translate Think Academy's curriculum strengths into compelling customer value propositions and differentiated messaging.
3. Own the End-to-End Content Process
  • Take ownership of the entire content workflow, from research and topic selection to creation, editing, publishing, and optimization.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining high standards for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
  • Review your own work proactively and continuously improve execution quality.
4. Measure Performance and Continuously Iterate
  • Track content performance across engagement, inquiries, and conversions.
  • Analyze results, identify improvement opportunities, and drive the next round of optimization.
  • Focus on building repeatable content strategies rather than producing one-off pieces.
Qualifications:
Required
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation or content marketing.
  • Experience in education or EdTech.
  • Able to work on-site in Silicon Valley.
  • Detail-oriented, highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to independently drive projects to completion.
  • Fluency in Mandarin
Preferred
  • Strong research skills with the ability to quickly understand complex topics.
  • Excellent user insight and the ability to understand how parents make educational decisions.
  • Proficient in using AI tools to improve content quality and efficiency.
  • Open to feedback, continuously iterates, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Growth
  • Base Pay: $6000/month
  • Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of base compensation
  • Bonus will be evaluated based on content performance, audience reach, qualified inquiries, and relevant business outcomes.
  • The position will begin as a contractor or part-time engagement.
  • High-performing candidates who consistently demonstrate ownership and deliver strong results will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.
