Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Men's, Women's, and Youth shoe areas
  • Be proactive in communicating with the Specialty Shop Manager and team to understand the urgent needs in the area
  • Select shoes from backstock and place them in the staging area for sales associates
  • Return any unpurchased shoes to the correct areas in backstock
  • Assist Customer Service with shoe return processing and return items to the sales floor
  • Keep the product organized to eliminate clutter and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Initiate a warm and welcoming interaction with customers, establishing a rapport and offering assistance, setting a positive tone for the customer's experience
  • Maintaining a smooth flow of service to minimize wait times for customers
  • Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of the Shoe Runner role
  • Ability to work independently and with the team
  • Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and promptly
  • Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and or 1-3 months of sales experience
Wage: $17
Schedule: Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sundays. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available two weekends a month. Average hours per week is 15.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
