POSITION TYPE: Hourly, Non-Exempt


FUNCTION:

  • To properly and productively instruct all participants in our classes with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the well being of all students.
  • Prepares an outline of activities for each class.
  • Responsible for filling out accident reports if need be.
  • Takes daily attendance of each class.
  • Ensures that each child goes home with the appropriate care taker.
  • Makes the appropriate action in the case of misbehaving children.
  • Properly instructs students in a positive way
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Properly returns all supplies used to original location when finished with class.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience with working with children
  • CPR certified recommended
  • Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive energetic attitude towards children and the activities they will be involved in.
