Job description

**Our McKinney nursing teams serve a very fast-paced, high-volume environment with consistently strong patient census and acuity. 

Our PACU Unit: Great team with low turnover and many years of experience. The right candidate would want to grow in their experience if they were a newer nurse (5-7 years of experience) and seek out those with experience to gain greater understanding of practice. Don't let the community hospital setting fool you! Our McKinney nursing teams serve a fast paced, high volume environment with consistently strong patient census and acuity.

Patient Population: Inpatient and outpatient - some critical care as well

Number of beds: 14

Ratio: 1:2

Hours: Varied days | 3x12s a week, 8am-20:30| Must include a Monday or Friday|1-2 call shifts per week with 3-4 weekend shifts a month. Weekend shifts are Sat or Sun 24 hours. Must be there within 30 minutes of time called.


Full-time Seasonal weekly requirements are three 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st week of orientation)
$1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time
Eligible for shift differentials. $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day)
The first week is Monday- Friday orientation.
Although this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role.
