Unlike hospital nurses, outpatient RNs typically work regular business hours with minimal weekend or holiday shifts. This role is ideal for nurses seeking flexibility while still delivering high-quality patient care.

To thrive as a Part Time Outpatient RN, you need current RN licensure, clinical assessment skills, and experience with patient care in ambulatory or outpatient settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), vital sign monitoring equipment, and outpatient documentation systems is typically required.
