General Summary:
The provider gives comprehensive care to patients by formulating a plan based on assessment data gathered through patient history, physical examination and selected diagnostic procedures. The provider educates clients, families, and staff focusing on wellness, prevention and early intervention. The provider works with the collaborating physician and department administration to meet the needs of the clients and the organization while maintaining a balance between outcome, cost and process. The provider combines the roles of expert clinician, collaborator, consultant, researcher and educator to accomplish desired clinical outcomes. The provider must be specialized in Addiction Services or have significant Addiction Services experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completion of an Masters Degree from an accredited School of Nursing or school with licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • NP Certification
  • One to two years of clinical experience preferred.
  • CPR Certification
  • Supervisory experience a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Supports change and participates in activities to promote organizational development.
  • Reviews and complies with MVHC policies and procedures related to regulatory standards (HFAP, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Demonstrates actions and behaviors that consistently contribute to the safety of all (i.e., incident reporting, hazards, and infection control management, etc.).
  • Positively and appropriately accepts direction and constructive input from Leadership.
  • Completes appropriate documentation within the specified timeframe.
  • Follows proper technique in assisting and performing procedures.
  • Recognizes and reports signs of abuse or domestic violence.
  • Displays ability and uses critical thinking skills to set priorities for patient care, self, and others.
  • Conducts and/or coordinates daily rounds with physicians.
  • Submits incident reports, evaluations, anecdotal notes, informal and formal counseling’s by deadlines and/or in a timely manner.
  • Adheres to all MVHC's policies and procedures fully cooperating with the MVHC Compliance Program
Working Conditions:
  • Lifting up to 30 lbs 4-5 times a day
  • Carrying up to 20 lbs occasionally
  • Standing 1-2 hours at a time (8 hours a day)
  • Walking approx. 30 minutes per hour throughout the day.
  • Withstands pressure and deals with emergency situations as needed.
  • Normal coordination and/or visual attention to connection with the standard flow of work.
  • Good working conditions in an office environment.
  • Average working hours with possible non-traditional hours.
Position Details:
