Midnight Auteur was born from the successful partnership between The Ramble Hotel in Denver and Death & Co, which began almost six years ago when the storied bar opened its second location in the lobby of The Ramble Hotel. With a shared intention among founders to build and operate hotels that immerse guests fully and seamlessly between social spaces and retreat – offering a setting fit for both celebration and sanctuary – our new hospitality company was created. POSITION PURPOSE

The Valet / Bellperson is the first and final impression of Municipal Grand. This role is responsible for creating a warm, confident, and memorable arrival and departure experience for every guest. From greeting guests with genuine hospitality to safely parking vehicles and assisting with luggage and special requests, this position plays a vital role in shaping the guest experience at our boutique hotel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the front door and arrival experience by remaining at your assigned post and managing the front drive, vehicle flow, and guest arrivals and departures.

Valet park guest vehicles safely and efficiently, including manual transmission vehicles, while maintaining a clean driving record and adherence to hotel standards.

Assist guests with luggage during arrival, departure, and room moves, ensuring care and attention to guest belongings.

Greet guests warmly and complete established arrival and departure procedures, providing a gracious welcome and a fond farewell.

Deliver guest-requested items and in-room amenities promptly and professionally.

Maintain strong guest relations by staying informed about hotel offerings, local attractions, neighborhood highlights, and in-house events in order to confidently answer guest questions.

Maintain a polished, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times. A positive, solution-oriented attitude is essential.

Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the entryway, front drive, sidewalks, and lobby windows, keeping all areas free of debris and clutter.

Communicate effectively with the Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Management to ensure seamless service.

OTHER DUTIES

Work a flexible schedule, including morning or evening shifts (no overnight shifts), weekends, and holidays as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall hotel operations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge

High school–level mathematical aptitude and understanding of standard cash handling procedures.

Prior experience interacting directly with the public.

Strong understanding of basic customer service principles.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with genuine warmth, charisma, and the ability to make guests feel welcomed and valued.

Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles proficiently.

Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.

Abilities

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to remain calm, tactful, and professional when handling guest concerns, including stressful or emotionally charged situations.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Prior customer service experience preferred.

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Prolonged standing and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physically active role involving lifting, walking, and vehicle operation.
