Position Summary
The School of Social Work hires intermittent part-time adjunct faculty with professional practice expertise during the academic year and/or summer sessions to teach one or more courses in the MSW or PhD programs. Curriculum, programs and content areas determine teaching needs.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master's degree in social work or related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
A doctoral degree or the completion of some doctoral coursework in social work or a related field is preferred.
At least two-years of professional social work in direct practice, community practice, management, policy practice and/or research.
Teaching experience in social work graduate education.
Teaching experience in relevant course material; human behavior and social environment (HBSE), policy, and/or research.
