Evening Primary Therapist (Part-Time)

Monday-Friday | 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

At Renaissance Recovery Florida, we believe recovery is possible through compassionate, evidence-based care. Our outpatient treatment center in Lantana provides Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

We are seeking a passionate, motivated therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment and is committed to helping clients build lasting recovery. If you're looking to make a meaningful impact while receiving clinical supervision and working alongside an experienced treatment team, we'd love to meet you.


What You'll Do

As a Primary Therapist, you will provide individualized, client-centered treatment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support each client's recovery journey.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups (approximately 1-2 groups per week).
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 8-10 clients.
  • Provide individual counseling sessions and document services promptly within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop DSM-based diagnostic impressions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with clients and monitor progress throughout treatment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention when clinically indicated.
  • Present clinical findings and collaborate with the treatment team regarding client care.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic interventions, and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Maintain professional licensure/certification and comply with all regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional clinical duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has experience working with individuals recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses and is comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Candidates should possess:

  • Strong understanding of the 12-Step model and recovery principles.
  • Knowledge of family systems and family dynamics in addiction treatment.
  • Experience utilizing CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent clinical documentation skills.
  • Experience working within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

  • Active Florida credential in one of the following:
    • ACSW
    • AMFT
    • APCC
    • LMFT
    • LCSW
    • CAC
    • CAP
Preferred
  • Master's degree in:
    • Marriage & Family Therapy
    • Social Work
    • Mental Health Counseling
    • Related Behavioral Health field
  • Minimum one year of experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health.
