As a Security Officer Part Time Overnight in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points and screening activities, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the location in accordance with site protocols, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting follow-up actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, access concerns, and/or operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate logs, screening records, and incident reports, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding daily activities and/or notable events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • A guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
