Job Description
The Guestlist Moderator facilitate guest's entry into the venue by verifying their reservations and allowing access to the venue. This position serves as a liaison between promotions, VIP services, and guests. Maintain crowd control, prevent theft and discourage altercations in a high-volume nightclub atmosphere by notifying security as needed. Work in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service at all times. Keep informed of door/pricing changes that might affect venues and services. This is a non-tip receiving position. (Guestlist Moderator is not allowed to accept any form of money from our guests.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Remain alert for any suspicious persons or activities
  • React professionally and rationally in emergency and pressure situations
  • Identify intoxicated, disorderly, or insubordinate guests and reports them to Security
  • Communicate professionally with all management from Host Hotel/Casino
  • Assist all Guests with entry to the venue
  • Maintain professionalism at the work place and with co-workers and patrons
  • Attentive to all company related events and upcoming venues and changes
  • Maintain a proper and professional appearance and attitude
  • Maintain and promotes a friendly atmosphere for customers and co-workers
  • Provide customers with information and directions
  • Inform management of any complaints, comments, or incidents
  • Perform all prior arrangements to be ready to start at scheduled in time and also completes all necessary duties by end
  • Accurately assess number of group then cross off guest list and hand out ticket accordingly
  • Constantly pays attention to surroundings and to customers
  • Assist and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE: 
  • i.e. High School Diploma Required or equivalent / Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in hospitality and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field 
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred 
  • 21+ years of age
