Med Tech Job Summary:
The primary purpose ofthe Med Tech position is to assist the nursing administration and support the resident units, and execute all assigned responsibilities/tasksto the highest quality standard
Med Tech Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and engaging personal careservices, assistance, support, and companionship
  • Look for changes in residents' day andpersonal care needs to update their personal Resident Care Plan
  • Encourage resident participation incommunity programs and activities
  • Assist with medication administration anddocumentation for residents in a senior living setting
  • Assist residents as needed with activities ofdaily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continencemanagement, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use ofthe telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs

Med Tech Required Education and Experience:
  • Must Be at Least 18 Years Old
  • Official State of Florida Med TechCertificate
  • Successful Completion of In-House Training
  • ALF Nursing Experience Preferred
