Job description

Dorsky + Yue Architecture is seeking a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Plantation, Florida office.

In this dynamic role, you will help elevate DYI's brand presence while supporting a variety of marketing and administrative initiatives. From creating engaging social media content and maintaining marketing materials to preparing proposals, coordinating schedules, and planning team events, you will play an integral role in strengthening our brand, supporting business development efforts, and fostering our collaborative company culture.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment, thrives on variety, and can balance multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail. The successful candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and brings both creativity and initiative to every project.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and grow engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Planning: Maintain a dynamic content calendar to ensure consistent branding and storytelling year-round.
  • Collateral Design: Produce and update both digital and print marketing materials (brochures, project sheets, graphics).
  • Website Updates: Keep website content, project portfolios, and news updates accurate and current.
  • Proposals & RFPs: Assist with writing client proposals, tracking RFP deadlines, and compiling submittal packages.

Administrative & Office Culture

  • Calendar Management: Schedule meetings, coordinate internal communications, and assist with general administrative tasks.
  • Event Coordination: Organize firm celebrations, including birthdays, work anniversaries, company picnics, and holiday parties.
  • Culture Initiatives: Partner with management to champion team-building efforts and foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or general office administration.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud—specifically InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail and copy editing.
  • Social Media Savvy: Proven familiarity with platform best practices for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Visual Aesthetic: Strong design sense and spatial/visual awareness.
