Job Description
The Homeowners Association (HOA) Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of common areas, buildings, and community amenities within the HOA property. This part-time position helps maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents and guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections of common areas, buildings, sidewalks, parking lots, lighting, and amenities
  • Complete minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and basic landscaping
  • Maintain pool areas, clubhouses, fitness centers, mail kiosks, and other shared facilities
  • Replace light bulbs, pressure wash surfaces, clean gutters, and remove debris
  • Assist with trash and recycling area maintenance
  • Monitor irrigation systems and report landscaping issues
  • Respond to maintenance requests from management on time
  • Identify safety hazards and report major repair needs
  • Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
  • Maintain maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Keep accurate records of completed work and supply usage
  • Ensure compliance with HOA rules, safety standards, and local regulations
