Overview

Consider a new career today as a Part-Time On-Call Mail Clerk in Greensboro, NC near NC A&T University. In this position, you will fill in at the Mail Center when its gets busy or when full-time staff are out sick or on vacation. You can expect to work at least 8-12 days per month. Perfect opportunity for students and retirees. Must be available Mon - Fri - 8am - 5pm but you can work 3-4hrs per day any shift between 8am - 5pm.

Hours: On-call and part time, shifts may vary between regular business hours Monday-Friday

Compensation: $14.00-14.00hr and you get paid every week. 

Responsibilities

The On-Call STAR will be responsible performing business support services, mail, copy, print, and hospitality services, shipping and receiving, conference room services, reception, and administrative support. Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Mailroom activities  such as scan Amazon, FedEd, UPS packages each day and help deliver packages to students at our window
  • Must be responsible and on time for work
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and legal US authorization to work for any employer
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks; capable of lifting up to 55 pounds
  • MS Office Suite skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
