What You'll Be Doing
Are you an organized go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to help our magical world run smoothly behind the scenes! As our Administrative Assistant, you'll be the glue that holds the team together - keeping our operations efficient and our atmosphere engaging!
Location: LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus
Schedule: Part-Time | Flexibility Required (M-F with occasional nights and weekends)
Company: Merlin Entertainments
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the attraction's leadership team with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks
Scheduling interviews, onboarding activities, and employee induction programs
Assisting with team reward & recognition initiatives
Ordering and maintaining office, breakroom, and uniform supplies
Coordinating purchase orders and handling vendor communication
Managing mail, visitors, and incoming calls
Keeping back-of-house areas tidy, organized, and visitor-ready
Handling confidential employee and company information professionally
Troubleshooting general office issues and ensuring equipment runs smoothly
Jumping in to help other departments during peak times or special projects
Qualifications & Experience
What We're Looking For
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous office or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong multitasking, organization, and prioritization abilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a high-energy, team-focused environment
Additional Details
Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, with flexibility for weekends/holidays when needed
Physical: Ability to sit/stand for long periods, move throughout the attraction, and lift up to 10 lbs
Environment: Indoor/outdoor setting with varying temperatures and noise levels
Safety: Must adhere to Merlin's Health, Safety & Security Policy
