What you'll bring to the team

Make a Splash as a LEGOLAND Lifeguard! Looking for a role that's meaningful, active and fun? Join the LEGOLAND team as a Lifeguard and help create safe, unforgettable experiences for our guests. 

As a lifeguard, you'll play a critical role in protecting our guests while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced, exciting environment.

If you're alert, responsible and ready to make a difference every day, we'd love to have you on our team.

Please note: This is a seasonal role expected to run through to approximately 11/7/2026. Candidates must be able to successfully pass the StarGuard ELITE Lifeguarding swim test and have availability for at least three full days per week, including one Weekend day. Pay Rate will change seasonally from $15.25/hr to 16/hr from May 24th-Sept 13th 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to by the self and guests
  • To ensure a safe working environment at all times for both internal and external guests.
  • Use and maintain water park facilities and equipment
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Acquired product knowledge and keep updated on changes
  • Be aware of sales opportunities within the resort
  • Understand the resort's objectives and what part they can play to ensure success
  • Ensure water park area and capacity is managed per local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Contribute to innovations that would enhance guest experience
  • Maintain minimum training as set down by the department's procedure
  • Provide medical support from team is appropriate for all guests
  • Provide excellent guest service with safety in mind
  • Take pride in their dress & appearance
  • Demonstrate ownership of all Model Citizen facilities

Qualifications & Experience
  • Be 18 years or older and ready to dive into a fun, rewarding role.
  • Be excited to complete LEGOLAND's lifeguard training program-we'll set you up for success every step of the way.
  • Be open to learning important, real-world skills like First Aid and CPR/AED through our provided training.
  • Successfully complete training activities and skills checks before your first day, so you feel confident, prepared and ready to shine.
  • Be able to pass a lifeguard swim skills check, which includes swimming, treading water and a short timed skills challenge.
  • Be able to see, hear, move and react quickly in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while helping keep our guests safe and smiling.
