Location: Emerald Pointe Apartments; Vernon Hills, IL

Schedule: Part-Time, 28 hours/week; Weekend availability required

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $19.00, based on experience

Incentives: Commissions on new leases

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional, positive, and adaptable attitude
  • Leasing or property management experience is a plus—Yardi/CRM experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person!
  • Saturday availability required - 10 am to 1 pm
  • Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed for vacation or absence coverage
  • Computer savvy
  • Reliable personal transportaton required

Do you enjoy building connections, delivering outstanding customer service, and bringing energy to every interaction? Banner Property Management is seeking a personable, motivated part-time Leasing Consultant to be the welcoming face of our 120-unit community in Vernon Hills, IL. 

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our leasing operations—leading property tours, responding to inquiries, guiding prospects through the leasing process, and supporting current residents. You’ll also assist with resident lease renewal tracking, day-to-day operations such as rent collection, and tracking renter's insurance policy & pet policy compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective residents through tours, follow-ups, and personalized communication
  • Assist with leasing paperwork, renewals, and rent collection
  • Contribute to marketing and social media initiatives, as well as community events
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property features, availability, and local market trends
  • Provide exceptional customer service that strengthens resident satisfaction and retention
